How we score casinos
Scores on CasinoLedger are on a scale of 0 to 5. This page lists the five things we check for every casino and how points are given for each.
Criteria, weights and point rules
| What we check | Weight | How the points are given |
|---|---|---|
| Payouts | 35% | Starts at 2.5. Crypto withdrawals +1. Number of withdrawal methods up to +0.75. Low minimum withdrawal up to +0.75. Our own timed withdrawal adds up to +0.5 or removes 0.5. |
| Licence and track record | 25% | Curaçao licence with a published number 3, Anjouan 2.5; missing number −0.75; second licence +0.25. Years trading up to +1. |
| Bonus fairness | 15% | Rollover of 25x or less scores 4.5 (cash rewards with no rollover also 4.5), then half a point less per 5x step, down to 2. A cap on winnings −0.25. No offer we could verify: 2.5. |
| Game library | 15% | From 3 (under 5,000 games) to 4.75 (15,000+); 100+ game providers +0.25. |
| Support | 10% | 24/7 live chat 4, shorter hours 3. |
Why payouts carry the most weight
A bonus or a big game library means nothing if your withdrawal is stuck. The formula rewards casinos that pay out in crypto, offer many withdrawal methods and let you cash out small amounts. When we publish our own timed withdrawal for a casino, that result adds or removes points: paid within an hour +0.5, within a day +0.25, more than three days −0.5.
Where the facts come from
Licence numbers, operators, payment methods, limits, country restrictions, game counts and welcome bonus terms were checked on 3 Oct 2026 against each casino's listing on LatestCasinoBonuses, a large casino database. Each review links to the listing it used. Our own deposit and withdrawal tests are added to each review with the date, the method, the amount and the time taken.
What we leave out
- We do not copy other sites' ratings or user scores.
- Exclusive bonus codes that belong to other websites are not listed as our offers.
- Where a licence number is not published, the review says so and the score drops.
How often scores change
We re-check terms at least every 90 days and whenever a reader reports a problem. The date at the top of each review is the date of its last check.
